"Nine" - 2016 Spring Concert
6465 Forsyth Blvd.
Saint Louis, MO 63105
Dates and Times:
Saturday, May 21st
Sunday, May 22nd
This concert is partially funded with support from the Regional Arts Commission.
Founder and Artistic Director Ashley L. Tate brings her company of trained classical, contemporary and commercial dancers to the Edison Theatre for a weekend of performance art celebrating the company's 9th season. Come and see the show on Saturday evening or at the Sunday matinee!
The cardinal number 9 is thought to be the numerical representative of the physical, intellectual, and spiritual world. It symbolizes the principle of universal consciousness and brotherhood. The company's artistic exploration of this symbol will explore relationships, experiences, celebrations, and sorrows. We invite you to exercise your senses, using dance and music as a vehicle for learning about the energy and meaning of the number 9.
"NINE" will feature new choreographic works along with pieces from ADC repertoire. You will experience contemporary, jazz, and modern (with a splash of hip hop and live music) in one action-packed, 2-hour concert.
